Do you offer software for filing QuickBooks 1095-C Forms?

Hi there,

Our company uses Intuit QuickBooks to process payroll for 170+ employees. Our understanding is that QuickBooks will not be adding support for the new 1094 and 1095 healthcare forms (the Obamacare forms). Do you offer software that can import employee information from QuickBooks and then prepare the healthcare forms. If possible we would like to print all forms on regular paper and stuff the employee copy along with the W2 form in the same envelope.

Thank you for your interest in our products.

We do offer 1095 filing software called 1095 Mate, which you can use to import your employees from QuickBooks and then prepare both forms 1095-C and 1094-C. Both forms can be printed on regular white paper and mailed to employees or the IRS AS IS, which means you do not need to buy any special forms to process healthcare information returns. Please remember that QuickBooks does not include the list of covered individuals (other than the employee herself), so you will need to also prepare a spreadsheet that has the list of covered individuals associated with your employees (this only applies if the company you are filing 1095-Cs for is self-ensured, otherwise you can skip this step).
