Can I back date the payroll period & pay check date?

+1 vote

Good Morning!

I'm testing Payroll Mate trial version and I have few questions.

1. Can I back date the payroll period & pay check date?

Trial doesn't let me use last week's date.

2.  Can payroll figures (taxes & deductions) be input manually? For example, if I already print the pay checks for last period w/ different payroll agent (CPA) can I just input the information on Payroll Mate so I could have right Y-T-D figure?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

We appreciate your interest in our software. The full version of Payroll Mate 2012 will allow you to back date checks as far as January 1, 2012 and to enter payroll periods as far back as December 1, 2011. If you were using Payroll Mate 2013 you will be able to back date checks as far as January 1, 2013 and so on.

The programs tax calculation can be edited on the check details screen when creating the employees pay check. You are able to enter after the fact payroll.
