Can we generate a corrected 1099 MISC with your software to send electronically?

We need to file a corrected 1099 MISC.  We originally generated this form with your 1099 software & filed electronically with the IRS.

 

Can we generate a corrected 1099 MISC with your software to send electronically?  If so, how do we do this?

You can use our W2 Mate software to print corrected 1099-MISC and other 1099 forms even if you filed the original form electronically.

 

Here’s what the IRS says:

 

"While IRS/IRB encourages electronic filing of corrections, filers may file up to 249 paper corrections even though the originals were filed electronically."

 

To print a corrected 1099-MISC form inside the software,  please make sure to check the “Mark as Corrected” check box inside the Print 1099 dialog.
