Can your 1099 program import data from Yardi Software?

Our firm will be helping an organization that has several companies and the total 1099’s will likely run well over two thousand, but they will be broken up into volumes of about 100-300 per company.

Does the software pricing work based on the total cumulative number of 1099’s for all companies combined or is it based on the number for a single company?

I have looked into several 1099 processing vendors that do what you do and while yours seems to be competitive, this is the crux of how we will make a decision about which third party company to go with.

The things we are interested in are:

Being able to export to W2 Mate the data either in CVS or Excel from Yardi Software.

Being able to file the 1099 forms electronically with the IRS.

Being able to print ready-to-mail forms for the recipients.

What the software basically does is generates a file that follows the IRS regulations, this file includes the required tax information that you need to submit. The resulting file is formatted according to the "Specifications for Filing Forms 1097, 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, 8935, and W2-G Electronically " which is defined by the IRS. Once you use our software to generate the 1099 INFORMATION RETURN FILE, you can use the IRS FIRE (Filing Information Returns Electronically) system to submit the file to the Internal Revenue Service.
