I have QuickBooks. Do I need W2 Mate to file with the government for W-2 and 1099's?

I have QuickBooks Pro 2012 with enhanced payroll, but more than 3 employees.  I am going to get W-2 mate.  What forms do I need to purchase to file with the government for W-2 and 1099's?  Do I need pre perforated paper?

W2 Mate will print 1099 MISC copies B, C, State 1 and 2 on blank paper as well as W2 copies B, C, D, State 1 and 2 on blank paper, preprinted forms or blank perforated paper.

The program will print W2 Copy A, W3, 1099 MISC Copy A and 1096 data ON preprinted scannable red ink laser forms.

We offer an option to print SSA approved W2 A and W3 forms on blank paper, W2 Mate Option #1.
