Do you support QuickBooks desktop 1099 electronic filing for 2015 and 2016?

We are an accounting firm and we have a number of customers who use both QuickBooks 2015 and 2016 and who are also required to file 1099 forms electronically. We were notified that Intuit discontinued the Intuit Sync Manager utility which means the Intuit 1099 e-file service is no longer supported for desktop version of QuickBooks. Our questions:

1. Does W2 Mate rely on rely on the Intuit Sync Manager to import 1099 data from QuickBooks?
2. Can W2 Mate import from desktop versions of QuickBooks 2015 and 2016?
3. What is your pricing for 1099 electronic filing?

Thank you for your question. Please see our answers below:

 

1) No W2 Mate does not rely on the Intuit Sync Manager. Our 1099 software uses the “QuickBooks Desktop XML SDK” which is still supported by Intuit. So W2 Mate will still work even after the recent QuickBooks changes.

 

2) As of December 2016, W2 Mate supports QuickBooks versions from 2007 to QuickBooks 2017.So to answer your question, both QuickBooks 2015 and 2016 are supported.

 

3) With W2 Mate we do not charge per form or per filing fees. The software allows you to create unlimited 1099 e-File submissions which you can upload to the IRS FIRE System. Please note that in order to e-File you will need a TCC code, which is like a password to e-File with IRS.
