1) No W2 Mate does not rely on the Intuit Sync Manager. Our 1099 software uses the “QuickBooks Desktop XML SDK” which is still supported by Intuit. So W2 Mate will still work even after the recent QuickBooks changes.
2) As of December 2016, W2 Mate supports QuickBooks versions from 2007 to QuickBooks 2017.So to answer your question, both QuickBooks 2015 and 2016 are supported.
3) With W2 Mate we do not charge per form or per filing fees. The software allows you to create unlimited 1099 e-File submissions which you can upload to the IRS FIRE System. Please note that in order to e-File you will need a TCC code, which is like a password to e-File with IRS.
