Does 1095 Mate require special paper for 1095-C compliance?

We have a question about 1095 Mate 2016 ACA 1095 software. Can this software be set to print on preprinted forms, or does it require special paper for IRS compliance?

No you do not need pre-printed forms or any special paper. With 1095 Mate you can print on regular 8.5X11 white paper.  Each year we send 1095-C / 1094-C forms generated by our software to the IRS to test on their scanning machines.
