How can I calculate sick hours with Payroll Mate?

I am playing around with the trial version of Payroll Mate hoping to switch to this system at the beginning of the year.

Although I put in the formula for Sick Leave Hours, it does not actually calculate or show the sick leave hours or the YTD sick leave hours.

I have followed the set-up instructions offered in the tutorials several times, can\'t figure out what I am missing.

If you could give me step by step instructions, including the value for the calculation, that would be helpful. (The sick leave hours are accumulated at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.)

We appreciate your interest in Payroll Mate software. You can setup sick pay to automatically calculate per hour as long as your employees are paid per hour.

In the employee setup wizard continue to the vacation/sick screen. 

1. Choose per total hours on check.
2. Enter .025 in sick hours earned per check total hours on check.
3. Enter the maximum hours earned if applicable or delete the zeroes.
4. Complete the wizard and click finish.

Generate a check for an employee paid per hour using our built in hourly pay income category.
