Yes our W2 mate software creates W2 E-File submissions that comply with Illinois Department of Revenue Form W-2 Electronic Filing Specifications EFW2 format.
Once W2 Mate creates the file, please use Electronic Transmission web file upload to send to the state. Please remember you have to register as a W-2 Transmitter and obtain your own W-2 transmitter ID and test and production passwords. Log into the Acknowledgement Inquiry Application 30 minutes after you transmit your W-2 file to see whether the file was accepted or rejected.
