Can your 1099 software import flat-files (Excel or .csv, etc)?

I have a large # of 1099 forms to prepare and send. Can your software import flat-files (Excel or .csv, etc) vs. inputting all names and data to prepare and file form 1099?

Yes you can import 1099 data from flat-files (Excel spreadsheet, CSV and so on).

 

Please buy W2 Mate Option #3 (Import W2/1099 Data: Excel, QuickBooks & Sage 50) on top of W2 Mate.

 

Once you have your flat file, you can load inside W2 Mate and map each column where you want it to go on the 1099 form. Our software will validate the data before accepting the mapping. If a column includes invalid fields, W2 Mate will give an error and you will need to fix the data inside the flat file and try the import again.
