Does Payroll Mate software include Florida reemployment e-filing?

We are looking for a payroll program with capacity of 200 or more agricultural employees I maintain a legacy payroll system for a company of about 200 employees.  Payroll Mate appears to be straight forward and easy to use but a need to have a few questions answered before I recommend a more extensive trial of your system. In Florida, the Reemployment data file must be submitted in clearly defined XML format.  The data file in your trial software generated a text file that did not appear to conform to any schema that I recognized.  Does the paid version include the correct Florida XML format? Is there a limit to how many deductions can be defined in the Company record and used by a given employee? I did not see a place in the Company record to define the Federal tax tables and rates.  This year, we had to change the tables in February due to changes in the tax law.  How does Payroll Mate that?

Thank you for contacting us. We have many FL customers who are able to electronically file the FL re-employment form.

Payroll Mate will generate an electronic submission file that you can upload to FL DOR. When filing, under import file type you will select “fixed length flat file”. 

There is not a limit on the number of deductions that can be defined in the company record.

Income tax tables are built into the program. Any federal or state tax table changes are done automatically. The software will prompt you to check for updates and notify you when updates are available. To install the updates Payroll Mate will briefly connect to the internet to download the updates.
