Does W2 Mate software create an ASCII1099 electronic file?

I am inquiring if your software is able to create a file in the standard ASCII format? This would be to complete a 1099-misc form and create a file in that format.

Thank you for contacting us. We receive many questions regarding 1099 e-filing. We currently offer a feature that will generate an electronic submission file based on IRS Publication 1220. It is an ASCII text file. W2 Mate will print recipient 1099 forms on blank paper and generate an electronic submission file that can be uploaded to the IRS.
