Can W2 Mate import 1099 recipient data?

Question

Can ALL data elements, including the recipient of the 1099 be imported into W2 Mate from a file or does the recipient need to be manually setup first?  We have a “competing” software product in which only the amounts can be imported, it assumes the recipient / contractor is already configured in the application. This is unacceptable as we will be filing over 500 unique 1099s… manually setting up 500 would be excessive.

Thank you for contacting us.  We offer a W2 Mate importing feature which will import recipient data. The importing feature imports directly from QuickBooks, Sage 50, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Daceasy, and the 1099 electronic filing format. W2 Mate will import from a CSV file as well.
