Answer #1: Yes, our software supports all these types of 1099 payments.You will need to issue both 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms.
Question #2: Is the software solution cloud based or on-premise solution?
Answer #2: The software is on-premise and we do not have any access to your data. We also have a networking option where multiple users can share the data. We also have customers who deploy the software in a thin-client / virtual-desktop environment including Citrix and Terminal Services (TS).
Question #3: Does the software have the ability to import data from text/delimited files, spreadsheets and/or XML.

Question #4: Does the software Load data from Infor Lawson Software and SAP.
Answer #4: Our software does not connect to Infor or SAP. The data will need to be first exported into a spreadsheet and then imported inside our software. If you have sample reports you can export, we will be more than happy to test and let you know if they can be imported.
Question #5: Does the software have the capability to print recipients form blank laser or inkjet printing paper including both the form and box values.
Answer #5: Yes, it does. And you can also create PDF files that are ready to email to recipients.
Question #6: Does the software have the capability to match Taxpayer Identification Number with IRS e-Services.
Answer #6: Yes, the software supports 1099 Bulk TIN Matching by creating Bulk TIN Matching request files and parsing response files pursuant to IRS publication 2108A.
Question #7: Does the software support electronic filing of informational returns per IRS Publication 1220.
Answer #7: Yes, the software creates 1099 electronic filing submissions as defined by IRS Publication 1220. A number of states also require direct 1099 E-File upload to their department of revenue websites (please take this into consideration when deciding on a product).
Question #8: Does the software have the ability to produce 1099 from manually input data (data not directly coming from ERP systems).
Answer #8: Yes, it does. You can enter data through screens that match the layout of the form (so there is no learning curve).
