Can I import 1099 data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheet?

Hello,

 

I am interested in your 1099 software but I have a question before I purchase. If I have all of my information in a Microsoft Excell spreadsheet, will I be able to import it to the program or will I have to manually type in everything again?

Hello Melisa,

 

Yes you can easily import 1099 data from an Excel work sheet.

 

You will first need to save your data as CSV (comma separated value) file using Microsoft Excel and then use the data import feature inside W2 Mate. For example if you are importing 1099-MISC simply select “Import Data > 1099-MISC Forms” from the top menu inside W2 Mate.
