Can I import from QuickBooks and generate 1099s in text file format for NC?

We are a family of 5 small companies that share one centrally located server with QuickBooks installed. We have over 375 1099 MISC forms to file this year. Can your software generate a text file format of the 1099s? North Carolina Department of Revenue is requiring this for 2018 1099's and QuickBooks does not generate the text file format.

Yes, you can use our W2 Mate software to import vendor data and dollar amounts from QuickBooks and then create 1099 text file (in the Publication 1220 layout) for upload to the North Carolina Department of revenue. The name of the system you need to upload your submission to is NCDOR eNC3. Please remember that you need to have a unique name for each file you upload.

 

You will need our W2 Mate software along with the e-File option. If you want to import your data (from Intuit QB or any other source) then you also need W2 Mate option #3.
